Amal A. Abed is a pharmacist with extensive experience in public health, specializing in nutrition, WASH, health education, and MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning).
Amal brings over seven years of experience in international NGOs and is currently pursuing master’s studies in Humanitarian Practice at the University of Manchester, UK. Amal has led a variety of rapid operational assessments, spearheading research projects and MEAL efforts. She has a proven track record of implementing nutrition and WASH initiatives, including designing, and evaluating health education programs, conducting baseline and end-line surveys, supervising community health workers and facilitating community-level activities.
