As a social enterprise, we reinvest profits into pro-bono research that addresses knowledge gaps in nutrition science. We’ve adopted the Trust Code for Equitable Research Partnerships because we believe in ending double standards in research. We ensure that women researchers from low and middle-income countries lead studies in their own communities.
Building Capacity, Driving Change
We don’t just study nutrition challenges; we implement lasting solutions. Our teams work directly with local health workers, community leaders, and government extension services to build capacity that ensures interventions continue long after our projects end. In Fiji, our school meal program design trained canteen operators and established self-sustaining supply chains with local farmers. We trained enumerators in Kenya’s arid regions to lead data collection efforts on resilience-building activities, creating a network of local research actors.
