Advancing Nutrition Resilience in Kenya’s Arid Regions

The USAID funded and Mercy Corps implemented Nawiri project aims to reduce persistent acute malnutrition  in Turkana and Samburu counties by building resilience through nutrition, health, and economic interventions. Over 2.5 years, Dikoda in partnership with GeoPoll will conduct comprehensive longitudinal research using mixed-methods to assess how targeted high- and low-intensity interventions improve nutrition outcomes and resilience capacities. This project seeks to drive long-term sustainable solutions for malnutrition, foster adaptive strategies, and inform national policies for food security and health resilience in Kenya.
