This project assesses the impact of climate change on nutrition outcomes among nutritionally vulnerable populationsin Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, and Vanuatu using a mixed-methods approach. The study integrates desk reviews, key informant interviews (KIIs), focus group discussions (FGDs), and participatory research to capture both quantitative and qualitative insights.
By identifying vulnerabilities, gaps, and actionable solutions, the research will provide evidence to strengthen Save the Children’s climate-resilient nutrition programming and regional strategies. The findings will help develop adaptive approaches that enhance food security, protect nutrition outcomes, and build community resilience in the face of climate-related shocks and environmental changes.
