For this project, we provide technical assistance for food security evidence generation in Fiji.
We support the design and the face to face data collection of 1,000 respondents across Fiji. We use the Food Insecurity Experience Scale Survey Module (FIES-SM). It consists of eight questions regarding people’s access to adequate food. The questions focus on self-reported food-related behaviors and experiences associated with increasing difficulties in accessing food due to resource constraints.
