George is an agricultural economist with over 8 years of experience across several CGIAR research organisations, international NGO and academia. He is currently a doctoral researcher at the Natural Resources Institute (NRI), University of Greenwich, and holds a Master’s degree in Agricultural and Applied Economics from the University of Nairobi.

His specialisation sits at the intersection of agricultural and development economics, with interests in agricultural policy, food safety and impact evaluation. He is highly passionate about using data-driven insights and policy to inform development and improve systems. This is demonstrated by his data management skills, ranging from household survey design and randomised controlled trial design and implementation, as well as analytical skills in Stata and GIS.
