Teresia is a public health and nutrition researcher with extensive experience in research, analysis, capacity building, and coordination in maternal and child health and nutrition. She has contributed to various projects focused on exclusive breastfeeding, maternal and newborn health—including human milk banks for vulnerable neonates and community-based maternal and newborn care programs—acute malnutrition, sexual and reproductive health, and strengthening health systems.
Teresia is skilled in mixed methods research, particularly participatory visual methods such as photovoice and digital storytelling. She has designed and coordinated operational research studies in humanitarian settings, conflict-affected areas, urban informal settlements, and Arid and Semi-Arid Lands (ASALs).
