Ursula is a public health nutritionist specialized in food and nutrition policies and programs, infant and young child feeding, adolescent nutrition and food systems with more than 15 years of experience in management, implementation and research in Europe, Asia and Africa. She has worked at WHO, in the Regional Office to the European Region, in Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, and in the Eastern and Southern African Region. Ursula also worked in Central Asia, Zimbabwe and Ethiopia as a consultant for different NGOs, UNICEF, FAO and the EU Delegation,. As part of her PhD and research activities at the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI), the National Research Institute for Agriculture, Food and Environment (INRAE) in France and at the Centre for Food Policy at City, University of London, she has worked on participatory action research, evidence synthesis and policy analysis related to food systems, food environments and adolescent nutrition.
