Damith is completing his PhD in the School of Sport, Exercise and Health Sciences at Loughborough University, UK. He was offered his first degree in Social Statistics in 2008 and earned two masters, M.A. in Economics (2009) and M.Sc. in Applied Statistics (2015), in Sri Lanka. Damith works as a university teacher attached to the Department of Social Statistics, the University of Kelaniya in Sri Lanka. The aim of his PhD program is to identify the impact of socio-economic factors on early child development (ECD) in South Asia with a particular focus on Sri Lanka.
