Dr. Peninah Masibo is a seasoned public health and nutrition expert with over 20 years of experience in academia, research, technical assistance, capacity building, and academia. She holds a PhD in Nutritional Sciences, and a Master of Public Health. Her professional work spans the design and implementation of large-scale research and development projects, technical consultancies, and capacity-strengthening initiatives across Africa. She has provided technical leadship on projects funded by major global organizations, focusing on areas such as adolescent health, health systems strengthening, artificial intelligence in public health, and maternal and child nutrition. She has served with a wide range of international development partners, contributing to evidence generation, policy development, program evaluation, and strategic planning. She has vast experience in mixed methods research with both qualitative and quantitative research expertise, hands on statistical analysis and qualitative data analysis. As a leader in training and mentorship, she has developed academic and professional training programs, supervised postgraduate students, and trained thousands of health workers and researchers. Her work is driven by a deep commitment to people development, health equity, evidence-based policy, and sustainable development.
