Revolutionizing School Nutrition in the Pacific Region

Dikoda is proud to announce a Long-Term Agreement (LTA) with UNICEF MCO Pacific. This partnership is a leap forward in our commitment to enhancing school nutrition across 14 countries in the Pacific region, marking a significant milestone in our journey towards fostering healthier school environments.

Innovative Collaboration for Nutritional Improvement

Our collaboration centers around the deployment of the School Nutrition Environment Assessment Toolkit. This innovative tool is designed to empower staff from the Ministries of Health and Education to conduct comprehensive school-level assessments. Through this initiative, we aim to streamline data collection processes, report on national core indicators effectively, and provide well-informed recommendations to improve the nutritional landscape within schools.

Tailored Approach for Local Contexts

Recognizing the unique needs of each country, we are committed to adapting the Toolkit to fit diverse local contexts. Our strategy is built on three core components:

  • Context-Specific Sampling: Developing sampling strategies tailored to the specific needs and environments of each country.
  • Training for Data Collection: Crafting training modules that equip data collection teams with the necessary skills and knowledge to gather accurate information.
  • Quality Monitoring System: Implementing a robust system to ensure the integrity and consistency of the data collected, thereby enhancing the reliability of our assessments.

Dikoda’s Vision for Healthier Schools

At Dikoda, we believe that nurturing a healthy school environment is key to fostering overall well-being and educational success. Our partnership with UNICEF MCO Pacific is a step towards realizing this vision, where every child in the Pacific has access to a nourishing school environment.

Stay tuned for updates as we embark on this transformative journey, shaping the future of school nutrition in the Pacific.
