Rowshan is a Public Health Nutritionist with strong academic background, sound technical knowledge and skills on the operationalisation of nutrition services. He worked with several INGOs and UN agencies prior joining Dikoda.
Mr. Rowshan has completed Master of Public Health (MPH) from State University of Bangladesh, M.S. (Research) and B. Sc. (Honors) in Nutrition and Food Science from Institute of Nutrition and Food Science, University of Dhaka. He has more than 12 years’ experience in the field of urban nutrition, workforce nutrition, community nutrition, nutrition governance, gender based violence (GBV), WASH, food security, livelihoods, adolescent nutrition, maternal infant & young child nutrition (MIYCN), disbursement linked indicators (DLI), comprehensive competency based nutrition (CCTN), baby friendly hospital initiative (BFHI), community based management of acute malnutrition (CMAM), SAM management, monitoring and evaluation, project management, results-based project management, real time monitoring, qualitative and quantitative research, data analysis, report writing, development of training manual/handouts and SBCC materials, training needs assessment, organizing and facilitation of trainings, and multisectoral coordination.
